How it works

You pick a depth before each run. Research continues until the answer is ready or the budget runs out, whichever comes first. Simple questions finish fast, even on a longer budget.

How sync works

Your conversations and reports are stored in your browser, not on our server. Sync is optional and off by default, and the access key alone doesn't turn it on. Two devices signed in with the same key still won't share chats until you pair them with a one-time link. Turn it on and your reports mirror across your paired devices, turn by turn, so two devices editing the same chat both keep their work.

It's opt-in on purpose: we don't store your reports on our server unless you explicitly turn it on. That's also why the access key doesn't do it for you. The key only proves you may use the service. It says nothing about whether your chats should leave your browser. You might share a key with a family member or a colleague; silently syncing their device into your history would be surprising. So pairing is a separate, deliberate step: you decide which devices connect, and nothing syncs until you link them.

Every claim in a brief is cited to its source, and weak sources are flagged. That's how you check the brief for yourself: trace the claims, weigh the sources, and judge.
